The collection of contemporary GLASSY CHIC chandeliers is inspired by nature, transferred and embraced in the form of a modern lamp. “When creating this product, we were looking towards the elusiveness of moments. We have observed the morning dew and air bubbles in the foamed water. We have worked on transferring this insight to the product. Hence the organic form of the glass shades and the air bubbles embedded in them, ”says the founder of Gie El, designer and architect Maria Rypuła.
The collection of contemporary GLASSY CHIC chandeliers is a wide range of various compositional sets. All models are hand-made. They are designed to fit into the various dimensions of any rooms. Dedicated to spaces such as dining rooms, lounges or staircases, as well as hotel and restaurant lobbies. Perfect in places where a sculptural lamp with a unique form is needed.
The contemporary GLASSY CHIC chandelier was created with attention to details. The lampshades are suspended on a silver-gray cord with a textile braid. Thanks to the use of braid, the need for an additional cord was eliminated. Luminaires are suspended in a safe way, by maintaining very aesthetic form. Each of the hand-made lampshades are marked with the Gie El logo, which proves sustainable production.
Gie El designers recommend using neutral or warm light bulbs for this chandelier. Depending on the effect we want to achieve in our interior the neutral color will create a silvery color that will be transferred to the interior in a subdued way. The warm color of the light bulbs, on the other hand, will bring out golden notes and shades from the glass lampshades, creating a warm aura in the interior. The power of the bulbs used will affect the intensity of the light, making the chandelier a decorative or primary lighting source.
The Gie El's desire is to adjust the product to individual needs. Such product can be created according to one's expectations. On individual request, we can change the number of lampshades, cable length, as well as the color of the string or even the size of the soffit itself.

- Do you send products to my country?
- Of course! We send our products all over the world.
- What is the delivery time?
- You can check estimated delivery time on each product page. Usually, it takes us 10 business days to create product and prepare it to delivery. When package left our warehouse, it will be delivered to you in next 2-3 business days, depends on delivery adress.
- What if one of products have delivery time specified as, for example, 10 days, and the other 30 days?
- We split your order to two package. We'll sent products to you according to information about estimated delivery time, which we sent you on email. So, you'll receive first product after 10 business days, and the second one after 30 days. If you want to receive all products together, contact us.
- Is VAT included in price?
- Yes it is. All prices visible on our site include VAT.
- How much is shipping?
- If the delivery adress is in Europe, delivery is FREE. If you don't live in Europe, you can check shipping cost after you add product to cart. Delivery cost depends on delivery adress and dimensions of package. If you have any doubts or questions, feel free to contact us.

- Depending on the delivery address and dimensions of package, it could be DPD, Fedex, GLS. If you order big and heavy product, like Organique bed, it's possible that we'll use dedicated courier.

Maria Rypuła
In 2008 she graduated in landscape architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology.
In 2007, together with her husband Jacek Rypuła, she founded the author's architectural studio Genius Loci Architekci, and in 2012 the brand Gie El.
Paulina Miszczak
A student of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
Since 2022 she has been working as a designer at Gie El, where she gains practical experience and co-creates projects with a positive impact on the environment.
