CANDLE 15 is a lavish and delightfully free-spirited lighting creation, unconstrained by convention. During the day, its colours and rhythm might evoke southern music – the glass shades setting the tempo, vibrating, arranging themselves in a way that feels entirely their own. But come nightfall, their energy transforms – almost as if a spell has been cast, lifting them gently into the air. Then, CANDLE 15 becomes a floating installation of glowing candlelight, infusing the space with a warm, intimate atmosphere reminiscent of a crackling fire.

Maria Rypuła says this about CANDLE: “For me, CANDLE 15 is a kind of collection of opposites. On one hand, the shades are cylindrical, with a perfectly neat shape – their diameter equals their height, so in theory, they fit within a cube. But on the other hand, each one is slightly tilted, subtly varied in colour, and that’s where they begin to play with us. I see in them a great deal of childlike joy.”

The CANDLE 15 chandelier consists of 15 hand-formed and hand-coloured shades made of solid glass in beautifully rich tones of rust, terracotta, and deep brown. It features striking details: bold shades paired with copper fittings, copper accents, and a stunning braided cord in a warm, burnt orange hue. These are the touches that give the composition its distinctive flavour. While the CANDLE 15 design is precisely defined, the chandelier’s height, ceiling mounting method, and canopy colour can all be customised. Hence the three-week lead time.
