Details such as uneven air bubbles trapped in the glass create the overall image, determining its beauty and ephemeral nature. The GLASSY CHIC 9 chandelier was created with inspiration from nature, translated and imprinted in the form of a modern chandelier. “Creating this product, we looked towards the fleeting moments. We observed the morning dew and air bubbles in foamy water. We worked to transfer this observation to the product. Hence, the organic shape of the glass shades and the trapped air bubbles,” says Maria Rypuła, co-founder of the Gie El brand, designer, and architect. For this chandelier, Gie El designers recommend using bulbs with a neutral or warm color tone. It all depends on the effect you want to achieve in your interior. A neutral tone will create a silvery color scheme, which will subtly transfer to the interior. The warm tone of the bulbs will bring out the golden notes and shades from the glass shades, creating a warm aura in the interior. The wattage of the bulbs will affect the intensity of the light, making the chandelier serve as either decorative or main lighting.
