The collection of lamps and chandeliers by PAFIL, to which the LAVA 3 chandelier belongs, owes its name to the material from which it was made. This material is called Pafil glass, hand-dyed using pastel colors and with great sensitivity to the final effect. The LAVA 3 chandelier is a composition of three freely arranged, glass shades, shimmering with a multitude of pastel shades and colors. Each of them is a representation of a summer meadow. It looks like it’s brushed by the hand of an artist who pours an impressionistic picture of a floral garden onto the canvas. The form resembling a flowing, fleeting fabric, undulating in the wind, is the result of a conscious decision by Gie El designers, brought to life by talented glassmakers. LAVA 3 was entirely designed and made in Poland. The production process of this chandelier is far from mass production and can be compared to the creation of art. Each color is manually Wybierzed and mixed, and then embedded in glass and shaped by hand. Then, the shades are manually signed with the Gie El brand logo, which is an interesting detail and speaks to the uniqueness of the product.
