The air bubbles submerged in deep turquoise glass look like creations from a magical realm—ephemeral, carefree, and somewhat playful. Arranged differently in each lamp and varying in intensity, they emphasize the natural character of production. Additionally, each shade features delicate dark specks, enhancing the sense of organicness and referencing ocean water.

MEDUSE 3 is entirely manufactured in Poland by talented glassmakers who handcraft each piece, bending over the red-hot furnaces. Each shade goes through the hands of a skilled artisan who Wybierzs the pigment, immerses it in glass, heats it in the glass furnace, and then, using a long blowpipe, shapes the organic form.

Although MEDUSE 3 deep ocean has a free-flowing, dancing shape, it is not a product of chance. The creative process involves a conscious search for form and its combination with the appropriate function. The architects and founders of the Gie El brand – Maria and Jacek Rypuła – are behind the chandelier’s design, conceiving and refining this unique form in collaboration with glassmakers.
