SAFIR is a collection where colour becomes energy. Its source is cobalt – deep, vibrant and full of life. It’s light that pulses from within the glass, setting the rhythm of the space. The collection was born from a fascination with colour and light – their interplay shaped by Gie El’s designers into forms of emotional expression.

SAFIR 3 is a small, vertical composition of remarkable intensity. Five hand-formed MEDUSE shades in cobalt are combined with irregular pieces of fractured glass in the same hue. The shades are suspended on braided cables and a cobalt canopy, forming a total look of pure, captivating colour.

The designers ensured that the emitted light retained a warm and inviting tone, without adopting the cool tint of cobalt glass. Special internal sleeves direct the light downwards, producing a soft, golden glow that highlights the shades’ lower rims. Smaller glass elements, each encasing a braided fibre optic, shimmer with delicate points of light. After dark, SAFIR 3 glows with atmospheric depth and energy.

SAFIR 3 brings a touch of effortless sophistication to interiors – refined yet unpretentious, intense yet never cold. It balances form, light and colour in perfect harmony, ideal for spaces that value detail and emotion.
