The MESH chandelier collection is distinguished by its picturesque and sculptural character. These lighting installations carry emotions; their task is to create an ambiance and mood within an interior. The delicately suspended mesh seems to levitate above the light itself. The mesh illumination, a distinctive element of these lamps, adds charm and introduces intriguing light interactions.

The silver VISION chandelier, standing at 230 cm, is one of the larger installations in the Mesh collection. Its form is an expression of lightness and freedom. This unconventional chandelier is inspired by ribbons caught in the wind—spatial and dynamic. Crafted from stainless steel mesh, it lends a modern and gallery-like character to the interior due to its form and structure.

The dense and intricate weave of the steel mesh allows for the creation of a picturesque and ethereal creation. A lighting element is suspended beneath the mesh, providing two-directional light—upward and downward. The upward light dramatically illuminates the mesh in a theatrical manner. The downward light is dedicated to illuminating the space below the lamp, such as a dining table or reception desk.

The VISION chandeliers are an original creation of architectural duo Maria and Jacek Rypuła, founders of the Gie El brand. “We reached for woven mesh, captivated by its charm and plasticity. It’s a material with incredible potential, offering designers the opportunity for creative work. We were enthralled by how we could shape and work with this material. A characteristic element of the VISION lamp is the theatrical illumination of the mesh. We introduced light from beneath, directing it upwards, highlighting the picturesque nature of the mesh itself. The play of light in this product is extraordinary.”
