The Gold VISION Chandelier is a sculptural form of light with a light, spatial character. Its shape recalls a ribbon lifted by the wind — free, dynamic and full of movement. It is an artistic chandelier that does more than illuminate an interior. It creates atmosphere, rhythm and a sense of presence. VISION belongs to the MESH collection — a series of chandeliers and lighting installations created from woven metal mesh. The defining quality of this collection is the painterly character of the material and its remarkable plasticity. The delicate mesh, suspended in space on thin cables, appears almost weightless, as if floating above the light. Illumination reveals its structure, emphasizes its folds and creates a subtle play of shadow. The VISION 160 cm artistic chandelier is made from steel mesh formed from an alloy of copper, zinc and phosphorus. Its dense, intricate weave creates a form that feels both raw and ethereal. Depending on the viewpoint, the lamp may appear as a sculpture, a luminous installation or a soft structure suspended in the air. Beneath the mesh, a lighting element emits light in two directions. The upward light theatrically illuminates the metal structure, revealing its texture and spatial depth. The downward light illuminates the area below the chandelier — a dining table, reception counter, kitchen island or Wybierzed zone within the interior. Thanks to its form, VISION works beautifully in modern architectural spaces, as well as in more individual interiors that call for a distinctive, artistic accent. It can become the central point of a composition or quietly contribute to the atmosphere of a place. The VISION chandelier is an original design by Maria and Jacek Rypuła, founders of Gie El. It was born from a fascination with a material that allows the form to be shaped by hand and light to be treated in an almost sculptural way. “We reached for woven mesh because we were captivated by its beauty and plasticity. What fascinated us was the way it could be formed, and how light could reveal its painterly character. The distinctive element of VISION is the illumination of the mesh from below — it creates a theatrical play of light and shadow and gives the lamp an emotional, spatial dimension.” VISION 160 cm is a unique lighting object for interiors where light is meant to be more than function.
