HIVE is a chandelier from the ELEMENTS collection—a unique and sculptural series. All ELEMENTS chandeliers depict the fleeting nature of vegetation in a modern, raw rendition. The rust HIVE 2 chandelier attracts attention and evokes emotions. It is an avant-garde lighting proposal that combines steel elements covered with rust in an extraordinary composition. The inspiration for this project came from butterflies flying above the autumn meadow. This fantasy gave birth to an extraordinary, industrial form that transports into the realm of imagination and fairy-tale. The chandelier was designed for high spaces that require a unique, artistic element. The rust HIVE 2 will bring character and modernity to the space it occupies. It is an author’s proposal for those who seek more than ordinary lighting. Similar to other products by the Gie El brand, the rust HIVE 2 chandelier is made to order and entirely manufactured in Poland. Each chandelier is assembled by hand with the utmost care in a workshop in Silesia. The RUST HIVE 2 chandelier is a product with a soul. It is meant to evoke emotions and create a mood.
