SAFIR is a collection where color becomes energy. Its source is cobalt – deep, intense, and full of life. It’s light that pulses from within the glass, setting the rhythm of the space it inhabits. The collection was born out of a fascination with color and light – their interplay and the way, in the hands of Gie El designers, they take on a form with an almost emotional expression. MEDUSE cobalt is a pendant lamp that captivates with both its color and shape. It is full of energy and emotion. The massive, hand-blown glass shade contrasts with the delicate, organic form, creating a sculptural composition. It was this single MEDUSE cobalt lamp that inspired the creation of the monochromatic SAFIR chandelier collection. The MEDUSE cobalt pendant lamp is a product with soul, crafted by Polish glassmakers who hand-form each piece over red-hot furnaces. Every shade passes through the hands of a craftsman who Wybierzs the pigment, embeds it in molten glass, and, using a long blowpipe, shapes it into a small work of functional art. Although the MEDUSE cobalt lamp seems free and fluid in form, it is not the result of chance. Its design is a conscious exploration of form and function. Behind this product stand the Gie El designers, who, together with glassmakers, refined every detail of this unique piece. Each lamp is signed with a glass stamp marked “gl” – the signature of Gie El – confirming its authenticity and symbolizing the brand’s deep dedication to craftsmanship and detail.
