SPACE tells a story of galaxies, nebulae and interstellar phenomena captured in massive glass forms. The composition of spherical, morphic and slightly elliptical hand-coloured glass shades is irregular – like planets floating in space. Their colours range from blues and navy to browns, sometimes touched with warm tones reminiscent of sunrise or sunset. Pigments swirl within the glass like galactic spirals, soft traces or planetary rings.

Each SPACE shade is sealed at the bottom, so light escapes only from the narrow neck at the top, creating atmospheric, directional illuminations. The shades are suspended from steel cables, and the bulbs inside are connected with cords sheathed in steel braid. Due to the bespoke nature of this chandelier, attributes such as height, mounting method and canopy colour can be customised to individual needs. Hence the three-week lead time for completion.
