The CLOUD 7_A chandelier is a vertical composition of seven glass shades with organic forms and subtle colouring. Suspended on slender cables, they appear to float in space like drifting clouds.
The CLOUD 7_A chandelier belongs to the CLOUDS collection. Lamps from this series are inspired by the natural lightness of clouds. The soft, rounded and irregular shapes of the glass shades resemble small clouds suspended in a warm summer sky.
The CLOUD 7_A model consists of seven shades of varying shapes and sizes. Their arrangement creates a light, vertical composition. Light introduced into the interior of the shades filters through the milky glass and gently spreads across their surface, creating soft reflections and emphasising the texture of the glass.
The glass shades are handmade from glass that is coloured in the mass. Their surface features a distinctive painterly structure – subtle streaks, delicate abrasions and gentle tonal transitions are visible. Each shade is the result of skilled craftsmanship, which means no two pieces are exactly alike.
Like other Gie El products, the CLOUD 7_A chandelier is made to order in Poland. It is designed for interiors that call for a minimalist decorative feature and a strong design statement. Thanks to its vertical composition, it works particularly well in tall interiors, mezzanines and staircases.
