The phenomenal appearance is not the only asset of the product; it is also characterized by natural materials and handmade production.

The COCOON BIG olive lamp is a product that does not like compromises. This is evident in the choice of materials and the design quality of this extraordinary table lamp. The composition of the lamp is the result of combining two forms: organic and geometric. “Sometimes, combining different shapes, volumes, or forms results in an unexpected effect. It surprises in a wonderfully positive way. We used the unusual and soft form of the glass shade in one composition and the completely rectangular prism of the cuboid,” says Maria Rypuła, the founder of Gie El.

Each COCOON BIG table lamp, like all Gie El products, is produced on demand in Poland. The manufacturing process involves working with liquid glass and blowing it. Then, the wooden base is manually oiled. Natural oil impregnates and highlights the wood’s grain, exposing its true character. The whole lamp is complemented by a black textile-covered cord with a manual switch.
