The combination of soft, enveloping light with what appears to be a raw mesh creates a harmonious duo. Designers at Gie El merge unexpected materials and meticulously craft forms that evoke emotions.
MESH is a visionary, fairy-tale collection of chandeliers with organic shapes, inspired by the forms found in nature. This free composition creates a modern form of lighting. A discerning eye will recognize fairy-tale motifs such as shapes from stories, flowers, butterflies, or even fantastic creatures hidden within the unique shape of the lamps.
The horizontal, silver MESH 5_B chandelier is a product with sculptural expressiveness, designed to bring an artistic spirit and gallery-like atmosphere to interiors. The metallic hue of the chandelier is the result of utilizing a steel mesh made from a weave of thin stainless steel threads. It’s worth noting that the MESH chandeliers are produced in Poland on a small scale, making each piece unique. Each one is the result of craftsmanship and the creators’ emotions.
The MESH lighting collection was designed by the design duo Maria and Jacek Rypułów. Inspired by the possibilities and plasticity of steel mesh, the designers saw creative potential in the material that allowed them to work artistically. This series of modern lamps aligns with the design trend where creators draw inspiration from nature, color, and emotions. Vertical, elongated shapes form organic structures. Light emanates from within the mesh and gently spreads across its woven structure. The play of light and shadow is a valuable asset of this product.
