The collection of MESH chandeliers is a result of inspiration drawn from steel mesh. Designers recognized its creative potential: “Design is a process that has its beginning and end. These two suspended points in spacetime are difficult to define. The first contact with the mesh planted a long-developing design thought, which over time gained clarity and matured into action,” recounts Jacek Rypuła.

The Silver MIST 120 cm chandelier is a modern and artistic product that sets the mood within interiors. The chandelier floats in space on thin links, resembling a cloud bathed in sunlight. Crafted from stainless steel mesh with a thick weave, the chandelier’s characteristic structure allows soft light to gently spread across its surface, reflecting and reaching into the room.

MIST chandeliers, much like other Gie El products, are handmade on a small scale in Poland. This ensures each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. What binds them all together is the craftsmanship and the emotions of the creators.

The collection crafted from steel mesh is the creation of the design duo, Maria and Jacek Rypuła. “We reached for woven mesh, captivated by its charm and versatility. It’s a material with incredible potential that gives designers the ability to work creatively. We were captivated by how we could shape and work with this material. The theatrical illumination of the mesh is a distinctive element of the MIST lamp. The play of light in this product is incredible. Light emerges from within, gently spreading across the surface of the mesh, subtly illuminating the room.”
