It all begins with the glassmakers’ furnaces heated to redness, where a liquid form of glass is at a temperature of about a thousand degrees. Nearby, on a metal console, small bowls are filled with pigments. The glassmaker, using a long pipe, dips the liquid glass and skillfully immerses it in the chosen pigment. Then, the pipe with the glass lands back in the furnace for a moment, allowing the glassmaker to perform their artistry. They blow the glass bubble and shape it into the final product. Before the lamp can undergo further processing, it must spend several hours in a lower-temperature furnace so that the glass can cool down.

Each piece of the HORN pendant lamp is unique because it is handmade. Each lamp is signed with the brand’s glass logo consisting of the letters “g” and “l,” which attest to the authenticity of the product and serve as an interesting detail.
