The ink pendant lamp HORN is a result of collaboration between Gie El designers and masters of Polish glass. The process of making this glass pendant lamp is extremely interesting. It all starts in the red-hot foundry furnaces, where the liquid glass takes shape at a temperature of a thousand degrees. Nearby, on a metal console in small bowls, dyes are laid out. Using a long rod, the foundryman scoops up the molten glass and skillfully rolls it in the pigment. Then the rod goes back into the furnace for a moment, and after a while, the foundryman applies it to his mouth and, like a virtuoso on a horn, plays his repertoire. He blows the glass bubble and shapes it into this product. Before the lamp can undergo further processing, it must spend several hours in a lower temperature furnace to allow the glass to rest.

The ink pendant lamp HORN is a product with soul, far from mass production. Each lamp is signed with the Gie El logo made of glass, with the characteristic two letters “g” and “l”, which attest to the authenticity of the product and serve as an interesting detail on the smooth surface of the lamp.
