The BAROQUE lighting collection, to which the gray pendant lamp HORN belongs, is characterized by a painterly combination of colors submerged in hand-blown glass: from mysterious gray, through warm shades of honey, amber, topaz, and magma, to an added touch of elegance with transparency. The collection is inspired by the art of the Baroque period, known for its theatrical compositions, dynamic forms, and deep color palette.

The gray, almost graphite hue of the HORN pendant lamp is a choice of classic elegance. The delicately transparent surface of the glass mysteriously conceals the interior of the lamp and shields the light bulb. The calm, subdued color can be easily combined and paired with other colors in the interior.

The gray pendant lamp HORN is entirely handmade in Poland. It is the result of cooperation between Gie El designers and Polish glass masters. The process of manufacturing this glass pendant lamp is extremely interesting. It all starts at the red-hot foundry furnaces, where liquid glass is formed at a temperature of around a thousand degrees. Next to it, on a metal console in small bowls, pigments are laid out. The glassmaker, with the help of a long blowpipe, scoops up the molten glass and skillfully dips it into the chosen pigment. Then, the blowpipe with the glass lands in the furnace again for a moment, before the glassmaker can put it to his lips and play his repertoire. He blows the glass bubble and shapes it into this product. Before the lamp can undergo further processing, it must spend a few hours in a lower temperature furnace to allow the glass to rest.
